On the way home today, I heard a song on the radio that I hadn’t heard in a long while. They started play Seal’s “Kiss from the Rose” from the Batman…2(?) movie. The song brought back memories of San Diego and most especially, La Jolla! Back in new years 1995, I was in San Diego visiting my boyfriend at the time, Bernie. He drove me around and we listened to the new Seal tape that I had brought with me. He was just as obsessed with the music on this tape as I was,…we both thought Seal’s album was one of the best albums ever. We played this tape over and over while driving around and taking pictures at all the tourist spots. It was my first real experience with California life (not counting the time I went in 1987 while I was a sophomore…I was with my parents so couldn’t go anywhere cool).
*sigh* I wonder where Bernie is now?
