After keeping my new shiny cell phone in my jean pocket for 8 days while I was in SF, I had grown accustomed to it there. Since yesterday, I’ve been inadvertantly reaching for my pocket (and I’ve been wearing work slacks that have no pockets) each time I hear a cell phone go off here at work. :crazyhead:
I kinda miss having it in my pocket. I remember the first time I had switched it to the vibra-melody ringer, I was eating out with friends and I just about spazzed out when the phone went off. The silent vibra mode is STRONG and would prolly shock anyone who wasn’t expecting the right side of their pants to suddenly start vibrating like a,…well, I won’t say!
One thing I do love about my new cell are the text messages I get on it. *sigh* Anyhow, I was able to find a cute cell phone holder for it since this phone is so new, not even ATT has the accessories in stock. I needed something to protect it should it be in my purse. I’m pretty bad when it comes to setting my purse down, I tend to just plop it down, unless my digicam is in it. Then I’ll be overly gently…LOL! What I bought is called a “phone pocke” from Japan. I found it in this cute little store in Japantown called “My Favorite Goods”! Mine is in the second row, #14. The store didn’t have many left to choose from so I ended up going with that one. These sell for $5-$6 in Japan but mine was $10.
Even tho I was on vacation in SF, I quickly realized just how convienent using ATT’s Mmode would be while on the run. There were times when I really had to email people since I didn’t have their phone numbers (yeah, what’s up with that??! ) and I had limited access to a computer. I know that when I do move back, I’m definitely signing up for the service and emailing from my phone if I have to.
