I’ve been hearing about this lawsuit settlement for weeks on the beauty blog circuit. Turns out it was true so I headed over to 2 of the stores on the list that were in my area yesterday. I was able to get this Clinique moisturizer and a Lancome sunscreen. The latter I gave to my parents to use when they do gardening in the backyard over the summer.
It seems the Macys I went to didn’t really have a lot as they ran out of stuff rather quickly. The Dillards store had TONS of stuff. Both stores, the lines weren’t that bad. The longest I waited was 5 minutes. Most of the people in line were those that had no clue why were in line. They just asked and got in line. I only saw a few people that actually had printouts of the website so they knew in advance, like me.
I’ve already heard from one person that there are some people out there that think we are taking advantage of the situation by accepting these FREE products. Some have even accused us of “stealing” by accepting the FREE products.
Um, excuse me but how is it STEALING if it’s FREE and ANYONE could get a product. Even the store employees said that ANYONE was allowed to take a product! People who knew nothing about the lawsuit jumped in line when they heard the word FREE.
My response to those accusers: WHATEVER.
I’m going to enjoy my free products. Who knows, I might like it enough to actually GO BUY IT. And isn’t that working towards the cosmetic companies advantage?

=) I will certainly enjoy my ‘stolen’ free stuffs lol glad I could laugh at this by now, THANKS !!!
Oh boooo I wish I could get it here in Canada XD
You got Moisture Surge? I was going to post about how much I don’t like it! XDDDD Have you used it before? Do you like it?
PJ: I tried it the same day I got it and overall, it works for my skin! Maybe cuz it’s winter and the cold dry air is drying out my oily skin more than usual but I woke up this morning and my face was less oily and felt so smooth!
