The glitter is from Forever 21‘s Love & Beauty line! I looooove how it looks but it’s a bitch to apply! I did 3 coats and I still had problems getting the glitter to stick to my tips.
I layered China Glaze’s Cracked Concrete over it cuz I thought it would look amazing! It does in real life!
Edit: Want to give a biiiiiiiig shoutout to mah girl, Cat in SF for buying me a renewal gift on my Flickr Pro account! Was set to expire on the 10th! Sweeeet, another year of Flickr Pro!
Cheap glitter polish for $5.50 at The Icing (sister store to Claires). I used hate glitter polish but now, I think I’m starting to like it! This one is gorgeous as it is both purple and blue fine glitter. I had to do 3 coats here to get it to really show up. The glitter is mixed with a clear base.
This would look awesome under some shatter/crackle polish too!
I forgot to upload and blog about this! Manicure from last week! It’s the $1.99 Cosmetic Arts “Enchanted Forest” from Ross! Gorgeous color that is kinda similar to China Glaze “For Audrey” but has more green in it. I layered China Glaze “Fairy Dust” over it. I’ve had Fairy Dust for a while now but never used it on myself.
The Cosmetic Arts polish was streaky. I had to do almost 3 coats! As usual, top coat was Seche Vite!
I wanted to take pics of my current mani today but the sun was hiding behind the incoming storm clouds. *sigh*
I promised Cassiel I’d post my current manicure so here is my Nail Of The Day (NOTD)!
I found this Cosmetics Arts nail polish @ Ross for $1.99. I had been looking for a yellow as I wanted to use it under the purple China Glaze Crackle that I had. I’d never used this brand so I did some searching online and found out it was a cheaper line produced by Color Club.
The yellow polish applied streaky. Ugh! It’s a creme and 2 coats was all I needed.
I swear, out of the 4 China Glaze Crackle polishes I have, Fault Line is my least favorite! The only reason why I hate this polish is the way it applies and crackles! It’s not a creme like the grey, pink and blue one. It’s the only one that has a slight frost(?) to it? It applies thicker than the other crackle polishes. I get the least amount of cracks with it.
I might end up just trading it off to someone.
